Description:

 

 

Aerosol spray is a type of dispensing system which creates an aerosol mist of liquid particles. This is used with a can or bottle that contains a liquid under pressure. When the container's valve is opened, the liquid is forced out of a small hole and emerges as an aerosol or mist. As gas expands to drive out the payload, only some propellant evaporates inside the can to maintain an even pressure. Outside the can, the droplets of propellant evaporate rapidly, leaving the payload suspended as very fine particles or droplets. Typical liquids dispensed in this way are insecticides, deodorants and paints. An atomizer is a similar device that is pressurised by a hand-operated pump rather than by stored gas.

 

Modern aerosol spray products have three major parts; the can, the valve and the actuator or button. The can is most commonly lacquered tinplate (steel with a layer of tin) and may be made of two or three pieces of metal crimped together. Aluminium cans are also common and are generally used for more expensive products. It can be in various type of size. The valve is crimped to the rig of the can, and the design of this component is important in determining the spray rate. The actuator is depressed by the user to open the valve; the shape and size of the nozzle in the actuator controls the spread of the aerosol spray.

 

 

 

 

Types of FIK:

 

i) water-based FIK

 

As a substitute for organic solvent based formulations used, water-based FIK oil-in-water emulsion was developed. This revolutionary breakthrough water-based formula, provides similar biological efficacy as that of any conventional oil-based aerosol. Even though the emulsion does not contain organic solvents, the chemical stability of water-based FIK in the new oil in water emulsion is at least as good as in traditional organic solvent based formulations. Moreover, the product are durable and effective to pests, leaving no trace after use, non-polluted, delicately fragrant smell, non-stimulated, and with no harm to human and animals.

 

As international and environment requirements, the water-based insecticide aerosol products get a high degree of attention. In developed country like United states, Japan are basically use of water-based insecticide aerosol products.

ii) oil- based FIK

 

Odorless kerosene is used  as solvent in oil-based FIK formulation. This odorless kerosene are high purity synthetic isoparraffins with consistent and uniform quality. They are produced ar world-class plants, delivering one of the narrowest boiling ranges for hydrocarbon fluids. This solvent is extremely low aromatic content to minimize risks from exposure and hence improving comfort for end-users.

 

 

Types of CIK:

 

i) ethanol-based CIK

 

Ethanol-based Crawling Insect Killer (CIK) is a totally unique solvent based formaulation which utilizes powerful pyrethroids to effectively kill and control crawling insects. Insted of direct spray,the concept of CIK is spray at the places/ corners that the insects appear frequently. Then, a protective layer will be formed. the residual of this protective layer is up to atleast 1 month. Within that period, this protective layer could kill every passed by insetcs.

 

 

 

ii) oil-based CIK
